When ever I want to script autotext , I just add it as text in plan view and then save as an object.&lt;BR /&gt;
Open the object script and you have the autotext parameter.&lt;BR /&gt;

&lt;PRE&gt;n = REQUEST ("AUTOTEXT_LIST", DRAWINGNAME, autoTextListArray)

      <description>This is for the drawing name assigned to the drawing in the drawing settings (see attached image).&lt;BR /&gt;
Your drawing title should also be using this value unless it is just plain text.&lt;BR /&gt;
There is only one autotext  for drawing name as far as I know.&lt;BR /&gt;
