Hello
I'm correcting all the Action Center alerts to keep the file clean, but this warning is the only one I haven't been able to fix. I don't need this item since it seems to have been added from a previous project without my knowledge.

I haven't been able to remove "Pocket Door 26" from here or from the Doors window.

Any suggestions?

That is a favourite that can't find the pocket door 26 object because that library (or the migration library) isn't loaded.

If you don't want it, then open the favourites palette, find the favourite and delete it.

It's not in mine either. Why not just make it? It's pretty easy to do and you can probably cut and paste another part for a "template" to make it even easier.

My guess is there is a generic part for it somewhere. I didn't really look.

If you have a favourite for an object that is not in your loaded library, it will report as "Missing" and will show in the favourites palette with a question mark as Laszlo has shown.

You have 3 choices.

Load the library with the missing object - you may not want to do this if it is an old version library.

Edit the favourite so it uses a library part in your current loaded library.

Delete the favourite if you don't need it.

Actually a fourth, you could extract the old library, find that object and add it to your loaded library.

It may also require you to find some macros.

This is not the best solution.

If I may glom on to this thread...I'm also trying to move our template from 27 to 29 and am having trouble eliminating Missing Library Parts

How do I go about finding "Section Part Mark_NCS 27.gsm" ?

When I open the Section Settings & the Marker sub-section, I can see that stamp item sitting there in the menu pulldown. AFAICT, I have no objects that use that marker, but it's persistent in the Library. Where else can I look to get rid of it?

Thanks!

Maybe you have a Favorite that references that library part.

Find the Favorite, and either redefine it so it points to a different library part, or delete the Favorite if you don't need it.

ok, found the sections...they were in a weird folder

but I've now thoroughly covered the favorite folders & I still have two objects left

I can find one called Fiber Insulation that is fine (not the 27 version). And I'm lost on the Outlet...not seeing it in any Favorite folder anywhere.

Is there no way to just delete these references? I can't even select them to redefine them...

If I were to load the old libraries, does that help me delete them somehow?

On a secondary line of thinking, maybe they are actually objects in the file...? How can I search just for those named objects?

It would be exceptionally helpful if one could right-click on the missing in the Library Warning list to locate the stray elements or definitions...

Thanks!

They can be in the default setting of and element (probably the Object element type).

Or, they may be actually placed in one of the Viewpoints. Do find them, you would probably need to check all Viewpoints until the missing object message is gone. Make all layers and all renovation statuses visible when doing that.
