If you have created your own custom library in 26, then you can load it in 28/29 just the same as before by loading the library folder in the Library Manager.

However, 28 & 29 do not behave exactly the same as in previous version when loading folder libraries.

If you load a library folder called "My MEP Objects", you will not see that folder name in the Archciad object settings dialogue, you will just see the objects and sub-folders inside that folder.

So you have to create a folder inside a folder if you want to see the folder name in the object settings list.

So you will need your "My MEP Objects" to be inside another folder called "My MEP Objects".

i.e. My MEP Objects > My MEP Objects > sub-folders and objects.

And the format .lcf is no longer used?

You can use it if you want to.

You can have a folder full of objects and other sub-folders - they are easier to edit as you don't have to extract and re-create the LCF.

Or you can create an LCF if you want to.

The new Global Library Packs go one step further an contain the LCF and other information in the libpack file.

But there is no need to go that far for a custom library.
