If your "In-House Library 2" folder is just a folder with objects then you can just open the object for editing.

If the folder contains an LCF (Library Container File), then you will need to extract the container file and then open the object for editing.

To open the object for editing, the easiest way is to place an instance on your plan.

Select it and press CTRL+SHIFT+O to open it for editing.

Make your changes and then save it back to where you opened it from. - the "In-House Library 2" folder.

If it was in a LCF, then you can re-create the LCF and then place that back in the "In-House Library 2" folder, or just copy all of the object to that folder and forget about LCF (they are a bit of a pain).

Hi,

I have a library that is called 'In-House Library 2'. It has one object 'Freestanding Wall 2300 edited'.

How can I modify this object from my library? If I keep my object in my Embedded Library I can update it without a problem. But as soon as I move it to another Library, all the options get grayed out.

Help?

Thanks,

Alex

Operating system used: Windows 11
