topic Object Library Folder Display in Libraries & objects

Have they implimented a way to see the top level folder of each library that you load yet? For some reason you can set it to show the folder that the library you loaded is in... One level in, one level out, when all you want is to not go anywhere...

I remember this coming up when they first introduced libpacks since you now had to load the libpacks directly and being smart, AC would create it's own folder heirachy for them, ignoring the libpack container and merging the loaded libpacks together. The issue is for anything that is not a libpack, it also discards the loaded "container" turning your custom library into a loose assortment of folders... For tool specific objects, such as doors, this is not an issue as you would most likely have extra levels of folders dedicated to those, but for the object tool, where you may have 10 different object groups this becomes a clutter mixed in with your other loaded libraries...

As we can still load folders for non-library packs, I put my library inside another folder.

I load the first folder that you won't see in Archicad, but you will see the second folder and all of its contents and structure.

This has been raised with Graphisoft, but who knows if it will be fixed.

I kind of hope it doesn't know or I will have to change my folder structure back.

A solution that we should not have to use.

This is a bug that has not been fixed since the introduction of Libpacks.
