Hello there,

Thanks a lot for raising this issue, it's a nice catch.

I managed to reproduce part of the issue by loading the “Transportation and Parking.libpack" from the Archicad 28 installation folder into a new Archicad 29 project. It resulted in a duplicated "2.3" folder, however, the names of the two folders were not the same on my side. (See screenshot below.)

That being said, I understand how the duplicated folder names on your side could cause library management issues. Please reach out to your local support and provide further details about the exact steps in the affected workflow (which AC version/s, which version of the libpack, etc.) and attach the problematic libpacks too. This will help our colleagues to investigate your issue more in depth.

I appreciate you helping us improve Archicad.

Kind regards,
Kornél

Problem with Library Folder Name - Library Update 2 - FRA

Hello, I'm having a problem with the library folder names.

The new “people.libpack” doesn't have the same 2.3 folder name as the old “Transportation and Parking.libpack,” and this creates two folders in the directory structure.

I know how to extract the library’s contents myself and create a custom one, but the problem will come back with every update.

And I don’t know how to create a libpack.

Is it possible to change the name directly in the .libpack file?

Merci.

The folders aren't the same names for @Arketech13 either.

It is all good for me in English (AUS template).

But as soon as I change the Library Localization Preference to FRA, it messes up.
