Library Parts Solid black when viewing in 2d! Help !!

Hi everyone, i have very recently started using Archicad as part of my course, but am having an issue in that a lot of the library parts such as furniture are solid black fill when viewing in 2D! i have only very recently installed Archicad 20 and Cadimage so am going to assume i am all up-to-date! can someone offer a solution to a learner user Jon

Have a look at the 2D Representation settings of the objects, at the fill type, fill pen and background pen. Change these as required.

If its not this, it could be Graphic Overrides or Renovation Filters that are changing the look of cover fills.

Or your pen sets are not set up for default object settings.

Hi Stuart, many thanks for getting back to me! please excuse my basic questions as im still a beginner. when you say change the fill and pen type, im assuming you mean altering them from black to white and reducing the pen down to the minimum settings?? I will start changing them now and see what happens. Jon
