    <description>Hi Stuart,  many thanks for getting back to me!   please excuse my basic questions as im still a beginner.   when you say change the fill and pen type,  im assuming you mean altering them from black to white and reducing the pen down to the minimum settings??   I will start changing them now and see what happens.   Jon</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;R&gt;Hi everyone,   i have very recently started using Archicad as part of my course, but am having an issue in that a lot of the library parts such as furniture are solid black fill when viewing in 2D!    i have only very recently installed Archicad 20 and Cadimage so am going to assume i am all up-to-date!     can someone offer a solution to a learner user &lt;IMG src="https://community.graphisoft.com/legacyfs/online/emojis/icon_biggrin.gif" style="display : inline;" /&gt;      Jon&lt;/R&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Have a look at the 2D Representation settings of the objects, at the fill type, fill pen and background pen. Change these as required.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If its not this, it could be Graphic Overrides or Renovation Filters that are changing the look of cover fills.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Or your pen sets are not set up for default object settings.</description>
