custom object edit

Hello

Still new to Archicad, I am able to make some custom object, but is there a way to edit the object after created, or must I remake the object. I'm sure I am missing a step somewhere, after I open the object.

Post moved to a more suitable section of the forum (please read the descriptions to determine where best to post).
And it is a good idea to add your Archicad version and operating system to your signature in the 'Profile' link above as some answers can be dependent on your setup.

If you are conversant with GDL scripting you can open the object and amend the scripts.
Otherwise re-saving the object from amended elements is your best option.

Hi Barry
Sorry AC 20 on windows.
I understand the open the object area and the window that shows the 2d symbol and scripting tab but even in that 3d view I cannot amend a part and resave it, this is where I get stuck.

No you can't amend it graphically in the 3D preview (that would be nice though).
You have to edit the 3D script which is where you will need to have a knowledge of the GDL language.
