topic Eliminating Label Pointers In GDL in Libraries & objects

<T>I think I already know the answer to this one but,

Does anyone know of a way to hide the label pointers using a GDL script command?

I've build some labels that can be controlled through MVO's, part of that functionality is to entirely turn off groups of labels, it works great, however if you have a custom pointer on the label then when the label goes you have the leftover pointer with no label.

The way I see it is there are two workarounds (neither are very appealing to me atm)
Make sure layers or hide with associated object hides the label (pretty much negates the 'off' portion of the MVO control, as well as ruining my goal of having only one 'label' layer)
Or build a custom pointer into the 'no pointer' version of the label (quite a few issues with this, plus a whole bunch I probably can't foresee)

Thought I'd ask anyway.</T>
