Backward and Forward Migration

Hello,

how do I use the Backward and Forward Migration script. There doesn't seem to be much information about them. I am trying to migrate an object from Archicad 19 to Archicad 17 but I don't know how. If anyone has working example script of there own then it'd be much appreciated.

It is for changing the objects when migrating - but not the way "downgrade the object" (doable in XML tool btw) but rather to switch one object to another with changing the parameters name etc.

If You wish just to downgrade - the easy way - embed it and save pln 19>18 and then 18>17...Can be done in one step in XML converter but it is comandline tool (anyway it is behind the above way too).

The possible problems - you may have are: lack of new or differently working commands in previous versions.

Thanks for the reply but I would really like to know how to write the script to be able to do it for me without using the quick way. Backward Migration in particular would be nice to know.
