I'm bumping my head against the wall and can't seem to find a solution to my situation that doesn't include additional elements.

So here is my problem. I have a wall that goes 10cm into the slab below and cuts the finish and screed layers of the slab to reach the concrete level. Thanks to the relatively new Building Materials and their priorities ArchiCAD cuts the slabs alone (not like before when we used solid elements operations).
The result - correct section and no need to go through every wall and bring it to the concrete level.

The problem comes when you put a door. It reaches the finish level and you see how the wall is cut. It is visible in section and 3d and you can see it for yourself on the image.

Is there a way to tell AC to cut the wall beneath the doors smartly without adding additional elements?

+1

2 workarounds:
1.In order to have the continuity of the floor I extend the bottom of the door hole as suggested plus add a slab with a higher priority material. Not nice nor a consistent solution but it seems to be the only one at the moment
2.draw the flooring as a separate slab on top of the structural slab and pass through the door with the its polygon.
I prefer the number 2 because in any case it gives you more freedom and control.

Yes, I tried this one way to get rid of the geometry underneath the door, but in 3d you get a hole which is not ideal.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

Minerva, what version of AC are you on as the solution may vary?

I have just created a similar arrangement in AC20 without any issue. My wall cuts through two finish layers into the slab and the finishes are carried through the doorway.

You should check the composite materials in your slab and wall are properly set to finish/other/core.

This may be a little too easy, but is there any reason not to just set the threshold material to match the finish flooring?
