<R>I have been integrating the GS IES Light into some objects, so now I have 2D, 3D and Light all in one object... I was wondering if anyone has made a dual IES Lights with the option to change the direction of each lamp. as per requirements of the image.
So you are using 'CALL' to bring the IES light into an existing object?
If so then just call it again for the second light source (ADD and ROT position as necessary).

Hmm, no I was bringing in the 3D and 2D script into the Light. I guess I went the wrong way.

I'll try CALL

Thanks!

You could bring the whole script in but you would need to do that twice if you have two light sources.

But rather than repeating the script you bring it in once and use it as a GOSUB routine (GOSUB for each light source).

Or better still if you are needing it in a lot of objects use CALL to bring it in as a macro.
That way if ever you need to adjust it you can do so to the one macro file and all objects that CALL it will update automatically (a bit like hotlinks).

Ah, Great. I imagine it's a lot better for migration also.

Thanks for your help Barry! I'm going to test this out sometime next week, I'll let you know how I go.
