The elevator object allows you to set your interior car width independently from your hoistway width, but the car depth seems to be locked to hoistway depth, even though there is a parameter for car depth in the "Dimensions..." settings. For example, if I have my hoistway depth set to 7'-0", my car depth is locked at 6'-2 9/16", and corrects back to that if I try to change it.
