Ganging windows

Morning,

I'd like to be able to join a multifold door and a hinged door together, with a 4 sash louvred highlight over the top. I've been trying to join the units together with ganging, but I can't make the lines disappear between the units in plan, or in section. Isn't this the point of the ganging function, or do I have my wires crossed? Is it a pen/ fill setting issue?

The aim is to be able to create a single unit with a 40mm wide mullion between the hinged door and the multifold, and a 40mm high transom between the doors and the window above. Is there a way of going about this with the standard tools?
I've circled the problem lines in red on the attached image

When you are looking at the window and door in elevation view in the tool's dialog box, and you use the ganging checkbox, do the lines disappear as they should? Also -- I hope I am not stating the obvious -- you need to check BOTH ganging for the top of the doors AND the bottom of the transom windows.

Hi Richard,
Yes, I've checked all the boxes for ganging on both units, and the lines don't disappear in elevation.
The lines are also there in plan.
Cad image would be wonderful, but it's way too expensive for our little practice.

Actually Richard, I only just figured out what you meant by elevational view in the tool setting. I had a look, and the lines disappear for the louvres, but not the doors. Any ideas about why this might be?

Bad scripting? No way to tell. You can contact support and let them sort it out, or just do a 2D fix and move on. If you provide an enlarged detail of the frame at the mulling, the line probably doesn't matter much anyway.
