You can use a Label on the door (Label Selected Elements). Try the &lt;FONT color="blue"&gt;Door Window Label 19&lt;/FONT&gt;, Custom Settings &amp;gt; Label Geometry &amp;gt; Frame Shape &amp;gt; &lt;FONT color="blue"&gt;Pointed Rectangle 90˚&lt;/FONT&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
we're trying to give the window and door markers a different shape and are having trouble working out how to do this.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
We'd like to alter the marker from the built in regular hexagon shape, to be a flattened hexagon as in the attached image. Is this possible? I'm assuming it will require some GDL alteration which I have little to no experience of!&lt;BR /&gt;
