It's not ideal, but you could remove all <S></S>Balusters<E></E> and just use <S></S>Inner Posts<E></E> as the required spacing. You can then select the relevant posts in 3D and edit their size.

Ideally, <S></S>Inner Posts<E></E> would reference the <S></S>Post<E></E> position rather than the corner nodes... If they did you would just be able to increase the <S></S>Corner Post<E></E> offset and your <S></S>Inner Post<E></E> spacing would update to that...

I am assuming you are not having trouble setting the size/profiles of the posts, balusters and rails.

Set the inner post spacing from last to 1000mm

Then this for your segment pattern.

Set the size of your posts to be the same as your inner posts.
Now when you place the railing, make sure to add nodes 250mm in from the corner.
This will place a post at each of the nodes.

This will give you a railing that looks like this in 3D.
Select the railing in 3D and go to EDIT mode.

Turn on the 'Segments and Nodes' so you can select the segment that has the inner post too close to the corner.
Select the segment and reverse the pattern.

Now select the corner post and make it "None".
Make sure you select the post and not the node.

Exit edit mode and you should have the railing you want - I hope.

Neat. Did not realise you could change the pattern alignment per segment.

Mats,
Just watching your video.
At about 2.30 you don't need to add the double post at the corner.
Leave it as a single post.
When you place the railing you place a node 250mm from the corner - this will place a single post there.
If you have an existing railing (like you do) edit the reference line and insert a new node 250mm from the corner.

So basically, every where you want a post, you add a node to the railing reference line.
The inner post and balusters will spread between these main posts and you can edit each segment to get them just how you want.

I love you Barry!
For some reason I figured I could just "node-click" on the corner points af, in this case, the balcony slab... I realise now I need to plan ahead a little more and create nodes where I want them. I guess adding some hotspots would be a smart move. I'll record a vid (with the original 2D detail as original) when I'm done to contribute back to you and AC-talk.
Cheers,
I am so glad it is working for you now.

Another tip is to make sure the railing nodes are 'Associated' to the slab.
That way if you ever adjust the slab the railing will follow.
All you may need to do is adjust those nodes that are 250mm from the corners as that distance will move proportionally with the length of the slab edge you adjust.
