Logic in Lamps Objects

Hello Everyone!
I would like to know if there is any logic in the height position of the lamps in archicad. Meaning whenever I'm going to put a lamp in my project I need to put an average height (because either I don't know the total height of the lamp itself or either I have to do maths with weird numbers) and later in section adjust the height to put it right in the ceiling, because the number we put in the height is the height from the bottom of the lamp to the reference level.

Wouldn't make more sense if we just type in there the height of the ceiling to put the lamp in there right away? or do we have that option and I don't know it? or is there any logic why archicad works this way with the lamps height?

Maybe I'm wrong but the more logical thing to put a lamp in what height concern, at least in ceiling lamps, would be typing the ceiling height.

I haven't checked (not at my computer at the moment) but logically surface mounted fittings would have reference level at the top of the fitting, and recessed fittings at the bottom of the fitting.

Thanks Erika, I'm going to search if there is a wish on this already. if not, I'm going to make one, probably GS thinks about this, because is very logical.
