    <description>Hey again&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
no need to make the screenshots as I already figured it out. the problem was I had the 2d door opening representation angle to 90 degrees which made the symbol overlap the dimension marker.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Select the Door, go to its Settings Dialog.&lt;BR /&gt;
In the Marker Settings panel, on its Marker Geometry page, you will see the Marker Position or the Extension Line parameter controls this.</description>

Thanks for your reply. I am using Archicad start edition and I tried to do what you said but cound't figure it out. would it be too much to ask for some screenshots?&lt;BR /&gt;
