Student version is not crippled. Install the Cinema4D Exchange plugin and then you can "Save As..." from the 3D window directly in Cinema4D format.

Add-ons for commercial ArchiCAD work in the Student version.
However, some have special licensing > CiGraph have a limited edition for EDU users, EcoDesigner is fully functional and free with watermarks etc...

<T>Hi guys,

Am I doing something wrong or a student version of Archicad 15 is crippled and it's impossible to save 3D view in Cinema 4D format? Every time when I try open the file in Cinema (v12 or v13) there are just bunch of chaotic lines.

Cheers,
Flybro</T>
