I am having this problem, too. So is everyone else in the office. I haven't been able to identify a trigger, yet. For the time being, I would recommend that we change the term "settings" to "movings."

Philosophical issues between using the Coordinate Box vs. Tracker aside, the Tracker (esp. if using relative / polar coordinates) is one of the easier ways to transition ACAD users over to AC11. GS, please fix this Tracker issue!

<T>For some reason I cannot get the little window to pop up when you go to insert a line or a wall to specify the distance or angle. It was working yesterday, and I did not play with any of the preferences since then.

Any ideas on how I can get this back to working?

I'm using 11 on an Intel Mac

Thanks</T>

I think in the Work Environment Dialog there is a setting that controls whether the Tracker should be up always or only when needed during an operation.

it's a bug GS is aware of . . . and as far as i'm aware, they are yet to identify the trigger either. my hunch is that it is something to do with error reporting. obscure i know, but i'm sure that report window messes with the work environment when it puts in an appearance . . .
