<T>I posted this in the hardware forum, but maybe i should post here too since it is the student version that im using (10). I cant get the plotter part to find my designjet 2500cp over the network. I type in its ip and it doesnt find it or do anything with it. Is there any info available on how to get this to work?

Im using the OS X version of AC 10 student.</T>

Not answering your question, but asking another one: did you try printing? What are your user rights on the computer? Maybe you are not allowed to install/modify printers?

i have 2 networked printers (one plotter, one regular) both connected to a router and they work fine outside of archicad.

so after alot of pain i found which port the plotter is on and then when i pick plot from the menu it sends it, but it never prints. however, if i go to regular printing and select the plotter from the printers it worked (which supprised me). how come it works like this but not from the plot option?
