It has been possible to bring in a 2D DWG-drawing into 3D as an object as long as I can remember.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;can v have option in placing 2d element in 3d or v able to see it 3d.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>This is not directly possible in ArchiCAD... 2D entities = 2D-only, so not visible in the 3D Window.&lt;BR /&gt;

I remember that there was a trick to fake it, but it must be buried deep inside the ArchiCAD-Talk dungeons.</description>

      <description>You can save your plan as a DWG-drawing and bring it back into ArchiCAD as an object. The plan will then be visible in 3D.&lt;BR /&gt;

I think he meant that there was a workaround to do so in Archicad (sometimes known as "faking it"), not that the image was fake.</description>
