topic roof maker in Licensing

<T>I used the roof maker on a previous project but I used a hip roof. Now I am using a fairly complex roofing system using mostly shed roofs. But for some reason it will not allow me to use the roof maker tool with my shed roofs. I have read the help on this and noticed that the help guide suggested that you ungroup all the roofs. So I have done that and still nothing has changed. I still can not use the roof maker. Thanks, again.</T>

In what way does it not allow you to use the roof maker tool ?
I just tried RoofMaker on a couple of shed roofs and it worked.
Do you select roof wizard, go through all the steps, but no framing appears ?
Is RoofMaker dimmed or unavailable ?
Are you trying to invoke RoofMaker while in the 3D window ?
All RoofMaker options are dimmed when in the 3D window.
You have to select your roofs and invoke RoofMaker while
in the plan.
No need to feel stupid.
Sometimes, there is no way to logically predict
what can be done or not be done and, as far
as I can tell, there is no statement in the documentation
that says that RoofMaker cannot be invoked while
in the 3D window.
Good luck,
