Colored elevations + site plan?

Is there a way to make the elevations colored, and put them in the layouts colored too?

If by colored you mean to show the actual materials colors then the answer is yes.

Just check in your Section Elevation Tool/Model effects/elements own material colors

thanks for the help.

when i click show materials color it stays black and white still. are there any other settings i have to change as well?

i just want it to have the same colors as it does in 3D, but in the elevation

Which Version are you using?

Anyway, we keep on the topic...

When you say it is still B & W is this when you are viewing it in the layout?
Or when you open the section elevation window?

Are you using Navigator to open the window or are you opening directly from the plan view?

You did modify the existing S E mark?

yeah it was B+W in the layout , but color in the rest

but after a bit of playing around with it i got it fixed

thanks for the help and telling me what to do saved me heaps of time hah

on the subject of coloring. i tried to see if the same thing can be done to the floor/site plan. and i dont see the model settings like the elevations has.
can it be colored?
