Not able to open Archicad 25 even if i have license (that works fine on archicad 27-28)

Hello!

I'm trying to open an older version of a project that has been developed in archicad 25, and i'm running into a lot of problems connecting to the license i have ( collaborative license for our). There are a lot of modules that need update if i want to open in it in Archicad 28 so i wouyld rather save time and open it in 25.

I tried everything i found on the forum and managed to get from: archicad 25 not connecting to the internet to now telling me after i logged in that i don't have a license. Please help!

Is archicad 25 not available anymore for my license?

If you have a collaboration license, I believe that will only work back to version 26.

You need a separate cloud license to open 25.

You might need to speak to your local distributor to obtain that license.

Ok, i understand. It must be something recently changed in the updates of license manager etc.. Cause i remember a few months ago i could work in archicad 24 without any problem. Now it's not working in 24 also.

If you already owned a perpetual license for Archicad and then just recently switched that license to a collaboration subscription, then you should still be able to open your old version files, because you should have an old perpetual license.

If you just purchased a new collaboration subscription, then that will work only for 26+.

I am not sure if/how a new collaboration subscriber can access older files other than contacting their local distributor.

If you did have an old perpetual licence, check to see if you still have it assigned to your user.
