    <description>&lt;P&gt;What is the proper procedure when this forced BIMcloud server goes down? If multiple people are currently working on a project, and a few haven't hit "Send &amp;amp; Receive" in a while....&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;should we all leave the project open till service is restored?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;do we save it locally?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Can we close and reopen it tomorrow morning, and will each individual local data resync once we all log back into the project?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;do we switch back to a drafting table with a pencil?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Anyone else having issues accessing Archicad this afternoon? All of our users have been locked out with unavailable licenses and it seems Graphisoft ID and License Manager websites are down, I suspect the two are linked. Interested to understand how widespread an issue this is.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It happens occasionally and is unbelievably disruptive. I think Graphisoft need to find a way of licenses checking less frequently or knowing the system is down so it won't lock Archicad out straightaway and give time for the systems to be brought back online.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same in Brazil, but.... let's talk about it!&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;For me, it is &lt;STRONG&gt;completely absurd&lt;/STRONG&gt; to have several open projects and the licensing system not support instability of at least 24 hours for users who pay on time! The truth is that once the projects are open, there should be a license check weekly, not instantaneous.&lt;BR /&gt;And I recently heard from fellow competitors who have pirated licenses the other day: see, this doesn't happen in the pirated version, it's better that way!&amp;nbsp;Are they right?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Oh you weren’t the only one! I’m the IT director for a decent size firm and that was fun times. Fortunately we still have 12 left floating in house and prioritized those based on deadlines. Still lots of lost work as a result.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;agree fully the check in period should be less often for exactly this sort of incident.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it should be interesting to find out what happened and if we get full disclosure. Compensation for lost revenue I’m not holding my breath for.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We just moved to collaborate and had left the old key we could use.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BUT! we also were testing Bimcloud SaaS with a project and while &lt;EM&gt;regular&lt;/EM&gt; users could just restart AC &amp;amp; automatically reserve the softkey license, that project lost the license &amp;amp; access to bimcloud at the same time and couldn’t save the work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why is the cloud license needs constant checks?&lt;BR /&gt;Why are the licensing platform &amp;amp; bimcloud platform hosted together?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In any case, this incident solved our question if Bimcloud SaaS is worth using.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ha! I bet.... Funny we are currently in the process of evaluating SaaS and were considering moving a very large project over to it for testing. We currently have I guess about 100 project folders on our in house BIM server and I have no idea how many files. It runs fine but the extra features in BIMcloud SaaS that are not available with the in house version are tempting. We are obviously going to reevaluating our position on this as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My main grips is with SaaS you need a full seat to manage the admin CP. IT does not use ArchiCAD and that seems like a waste of funds. So yeah sometimes IT can't get in if the floating seats are all in use. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well yeah thanks to them for getting it back up but it shouldn’t have gone down in the first place. Believe me I know all to well stuff happens but when you have your clients move to the cloud the solution should be rock solid. I know it’s happens to the big players as well but with GRAPHISOFT it feels like some of this is profit driven and maybe not quite ready for prime time. There have been a lot of changes in management and policy positions over the last few years and that can hurt trust. I like the product in many ways and our sales rep is good but I have my reservations. For my studio they need their reservations to work &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
