I think It is not possible in current version. Connection can't change referenced enteties. What we usually do is deleting initial elements and replace them with new ones. For example deleting layer.

<T>Hello,
I am trying to find a way to change a certain property of a wall from a grasshopper. To be more precisse, every wall will have a custom property I predifined, and I would select all of the walls, deconstruct them in grasshopper, find surface and materials and based on some calculation I would fill mentioned custom property with a custom value. My question is how to do that on existing wall, without creating a new one?</T>

That is a workaround which could work. However, I do believe this feature is crucial in future integration and parametric future of Archicad, I strongly believe Graphisoft will consider this.
