No reaction in Property Settings component

I connect a Wall Settings component to a Wall Design component. With connected number sliders I can change Height and Slant angle so everything works.
When I connect a Property Settings component and connect it to the related Settings input I cannot choose Properties or Classifications via right-click. The Property Settings input stays orange all the time.
The GH-AC connection works.

So what's the issue?

I just installed AC 22 Build 4023, now it works. I am not quite sure if this was the solution though.

So still, any substantial info is very much appreciated.
