GH-AC installed for AC24 INT, how to make it also run on AC24 USA

The installer for the AC24 Grasshopper Connection tells me GH-AC is already installed —which it is, on my AC24 INT, and I want to use it on 24 USA. I tried copying the GH-AC add-on folder in INT into the AC24 USA add-ons folder but I get a grayed out menu.

[Also: if I start a new file in AC24 INT I get the Interoperability>GH Connection menu all right; if I then open in AC24 INT the file created in AC24 USA and save it from INT, the GHC menu is grayed out and so is the GHC palette.]

[Edit: I zipped the AC24 INT 5004 folder, installed the latest GHC add-on (3008) which after some search selected the AC24 USA folder, and at the end of installation I get a notification saying AC may need to be updated. Check for updates gives nothing new neither for AC nor for GHC. Interoperability>GHC menu grayed out.]
