topic Windows and Wall insertion points and centerlines in Parametric design

<T>Hello,

I have a simple basic wall segment and I create a pattern of windows in it in the GH-archicad connection. The inputs of -1,0,1 all act the same with regard to the window position and create the windows with the anchor point as Center.
The -1 or 1 inputs don't change the anchor point created..

With walls, trying to change the position to outside or inside also doesn't change anything...

Any insight on this...?

Thanks</T>

Hi,

Yeah, this is a known problem with the Anchor point of the Window node, we are currently working on it.

Regarding the Walls, the Position parameter is actually for "Position" in Classification and Properties. It is not for the position of the Reference Line, rather a structural parameter. Having more control over the Reference Line though has been a long-time request, and we are working hard on it.

Regards,
