I assume you want to do this in order to edit it?  If the only purpose is annotation, then Matthew's suggestion is easier at the moment...&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Rather than go to the trouble of writing an add-on, you can just publish the 3D view and place it as a drawing.</description>
