      <title>Archicad python connection - assertion error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to start with Archicad Python connection. The problem is that the sample script just won't work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It appears that it's not even connecting to the running instance of Archicad but it's quite not clear&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;to me as I'm an absolute beginner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;EDIT: nevermind, as I've found that SE just doesn't support Python.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I also encounter same problem. I have checked my connection should be ok as below figure, but still have error message "line 10, in &amp;lt;module&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;assert conn ^^^^ AssertionError". This python script - "&lt;SPAN&gt;Excel File Exporter"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;is download from Graphisoft website &lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="connection error.JPG" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/87586i78F7ED2B86932E65/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="connection error.JPG" alt="connection error.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
