You could use the 'hole' windows to make the cut. At least NL library has a collection of hole shape windows with curved arches etc. It will be tricky to setup to match the roof.

Alternatively you could make your own window-hole library part for the job. Look at the archicad wiki, this forum and the reference guide how to make your own window parts.

<T>We are working on proposals for a WWII nissan hut, it is all roof in a curve that comes back in on itself at the bottom. We have made this from the roof tool (as we have AC ST edition) but Ecodesigner is not seeing it as a volume which means it can not do any calculations. Anyone got any hints or tips to help here?

Cheers
OK so through a process of elimination we have worked out that the culprit for this problem could be to do with the dormer window, and I think it is related to these walls that form the cheeks of the dormer, they are cut (using SEO) at the top and bottom.
Any tips or alternative methods of making this part would be appreciated!

Cheers
