ED itself calculates the interior building volume by its surrounding exteriors. I figured out the missing volume has to do with story settings. I modeled an 8 m high building on story 1 which is 3 m...the cut in volume is at approx 6-7 metres which makes no sense to me. If I up the story height to higher than the building the volume shows correctly. I'll ask GS what's controlling the calculated volume.
