topic Can't access BIM server 18 with domain name in Teamwork & BIMcloud

<T>Hi,

I'm trying to set up networking to remotely access the BIM server, which is on my computer at my office.

I believe I have everything set up correctly on the ArchiCAD side as I can remotely access the BIM server by punching into ArchiCAD my WAN static IP + port:

111.222.333.444:1228.

Since I can access the BIM server, this suggests I've got the port forwarding setup correctly to access my work computer.

However, when I punch in the subdomain of my website "bim.xxxx.ca" it doesn't work. My webhost set up an A record that points my subdomain to my IP address.

Any thoughts?</T>

did you solve your problem?

I'm trying to set up remote access on 18 too and asked all kind of people for help, including graphisoft USA but didn't get a helpful answer.

I went to the local Mac store and asked if they could recommend a network guy, emailed him, described my problem and never heard back.

why is that so?
Just to make sure, you used the port too?
