receive and install archicad 19 Teamwork slow

Hello everyone,

We install the brand new archicad 19. The speed is good on the station but the send and receive is badly slow. Any recommendation to gain rapidity.

The server is a mac mini I7, 1gig, 16 meg of ram and running on the latest yosemite 10.10.3

We also experience the same problem with slow send and receive to and from our BIM Server.
When browsing the BIM-server via the web interface we are not experiencing any problems.

Network between the workstations and BIM-server is 1Gbit with <1ms latency.

BIM Server Version 19.0.0.3003, Product version 19.0.0 R1 INT (3003).

Where should we start our troubleshooting?

Do you "not recommend" OS X 10.10.5 ? Or is the second running a different version ?

Sorry, the BIM-server is running on a virtualized Window 2012 R2 x64 Guest

Hi all,

Different steps can be followed to improve Send&Receive speed:

- First of all make sure you follow the hardware and software requirements for the BIM Server (http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides/archicad-18-bimcloud-and-bim-server-help/getting-started-with-bim-server/hardwaresoftware-requirements/)

- Make sure you don't let your project to get too large. If the project is being worked on for a while a re-sharing would help. Simply save the file as pln, re-share it, and have the users re-joining.

- If some users don't Send&Receive for while this will have a negative impact on the users' Send&Receive, the cache will get larger and larger, so make sure all the user's Send&Receive regularly. If some users don't work often on a project it is better if they "leave" the project.

The above should help your Send&Receive speed.
