Hi, you haven't really shared enough information to help - it's not clear from your post where the BIMserver resides, but if you haven't looked at this, it might be a help: <LINK_TEXT text="http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/techno ... im-server/">http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/technotes/next-generation-teamwork/getting-started-with-the-graphisoft-bim-server/</LINK_TEXT>

the same procedure still applies. In server name you will need to put the IP address and the port.

XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1228

then you should be able to connect as long as you have configured that computer with a fixed IP address

Bimserver setup for mac

In archicad 18, the setup is différent from 17,16........

In archicad 17 we were able to put the port number in preference 6005

In archicad 18 the port number setup is not There anymore.

The installation of the bimserver doesn't work as 17. The setup goes true, the Safari browser.

The information on the graphisoft site représente Older version and not 18

Can some one from graphisoft give us à hand on this.

The installation of the bimserver with ip static is done but the connection from a user doesn't work.

Hello mister ksjhawk,

everything work fine we made a little mistake with the port number it was 8081 and up the user connection work.

Super.

But by the way if you look the documentation there is no place where they talk place the IP and the port number. They always takl about the name of the server.

I'm not getting it. There is no such reconfiguring file in the BIMSever folder. Only Server module 1700. I have a downloaded file from last year that updated the BIMServer. Is there one this year that I missed? or is it all in one .dmg file?
