Pidgin and Archicad 17? messenger problems?

wondering....we are having a hellacious amount of issues with our TW files, MAC system, and send/recieve issues. Nothing seems to be able to be sent back to the TW file.

We have a MAC dude (tech) here working on this issue and well..quite frankly it's a nightmare!....seems he can't figure out why the server is having such issues with Archicad.

I remember at another office I was at...we were using MSmessgner. it appeared that Messenger conflicted with AC's communications port (AC's messaging port) and Messenger SHUT DOWN AC's flow of data each time anyone would get on messenger to send communcation.....................COULD I wonder.........could PidGen (another messaging software) be causing HAVOC on AC's teamwork connectivity again???.............

the symptoms are too similar to be coincidence.

Easy enough to check for conflicts... and the ports used by AC/BIM Server can be changed to any free ports.

Has your Mac tech been in contact with GSUS Tech Support to sort this out?

it appears they are in communications but...we nor GS can't seem to find out why our "large" file Teamwork is having so many issues.
I understand...it's complex building..it's got Sketchup information imported into it....created to morphs, curved morphs..etc...and it's a large building to begin with with highly ornate historic shapes.....but.....this TW crashing scenario is a "killah"

puts a damper on your workflow.

I know they have one of the best guys on it...GS I mean. His name is Ransom and he's a good trouble shooter....so I'm confident we will get to the bottom of this.
