We are Architects.....looking to purchase Archicad for one of our upcoming Megaprojects. We have been studying your product while
doing so have some queries for which we request your clarifications.
Our Current ecosystem consist of MEP Contrators who use their own MEP software and our Structural partner use Tekla.Now should we go for Archicad, we are wondering how would BIMServer help in complete
Collaboration of the Program/project.
Does BIMServer work in tandem across different Tools which is the
case here. Request your clarification and support in understanding this in detail.

The BIM Server can work only with ArchiCAD Projects. The BIM Server is the Server, ArchiCAD is the client.
Collaboration with Tekla is working pretty well through IFC as far as I know. The two companies have been working together for a good while now to make this collaboration as smooth as possible.
It would be good to know what software the MEP guys are using. ArchiCAD's MEP Modeler can work together with AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP. Those workflows have also been optimized by Graphisoft.

Anyone who has concrete experience please chime in.
