<T>Hi all,

Is there anyway to track changes happened in teamwork projects? We're working on a project which "more than one" party joined. So, we expect to know what was changed by whom in project..

I heard that archicad can cooperate with VICO software. Do you know it in details? Is there any other software or plug-in can help that?

Any advise is much appreciated!</T>

Hi all,

Sorry for not did a deeper search before asking about VICO software. Now I know it's used to be a part of Graphisoft. And probably not sure about future connection between ArchiCAD and VICO.

But I still need help to track changes in model of a teamwork project. As we're 2 teams (model & document) in different places working through BIM Server, and it'll very difficult to track what changed in model.

The BIM Server software contains a project log that records server activity but not necessarily specific model tracking. Please see this help article: <LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/publishin ... ml#1036013">http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/publishing/ac15_help_INT/Files/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=05_Collaboration.08.024.html#1036013</LINK_TEXT>

To track model changes you may want to learn more about a little known feature called Project Mark-Up: <LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/publishin ... 8.104.html">http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/publishing/ac15_help_INT/Files/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=05_Collaboration.08.104.html</LINK_TEXT> It requires that you implement a workflow amongst users but it is extremely valuable. You can also learn more about this in Chapter 7 of the ArchiCAD Collaboration 2 Interactive training Guide (Look in the You Tube Player in the Help menu or find at this link: <LINK_TEXT text="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_HGpuo7 ... r_embedded">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_HGpuo7b9I&feature=player_embedded</LINK_TEXT>)

For a more automated system that logs all actions during the modeling process you would need to look into an additional logging software or model checking software.

Best regards,
