<R>so. i took my v14 model and updated it concerning the renovation feature and then uploaded it to the tw server.

then my outlook email program kept freezing my computer. I did a system restore. and it worked fine again. then i reinstalled v15 bim server manager and it started crashing again.

i'm just posting in case anyone has a solution because otherwise I will have to go back to my v14 copy. and redo about 3 days of work... </R>

by the way when it crashes. it freezes completely. I cannot ctl - alt - del and end a program or process.

I end up having to reboot manually. had to do it almost 10 times yesterday.

Sorry for guessing; and I'm no IT guy... but maybe the BimServer15 and outlook are fighting over the same PORT?

TIM MORSE or GERGELY KMETHY might be of help...(GS US)

no thanks for guessing. I'm sure you know more about IT than I do. ports huh? I hope its easy to fix. And if that's whats causing it to crash I could stick with 15 which would be awesome. Just one other question. so Tim Morse or Gergely Kmethy, how would I best reach them? with the message tool in this forum? And GS US? does that mean they work for Graphisoft?

Sorry for all the n00b questions. I'll only ask once though. And soon I may be able to answer a few questions on these forums.

Yes and Yes...

I am sure they are overloaded with AC15 questions... but they have always been very helpful in tracking down BimServer issues.

Contact them here for a start...(meaning, search them in the MEMBERLIST and send private message)..

BTW.. Did you happen to have AC13 up also? There were some things to "fix" with AC13 and AC15 BimServers together..

I wanted to send a screen shot of the port config, but I can't seem to get there now....

I looked at the ports for Bim TW and outlook. no conflicting ports there. I don't have TW 13. right now i have modules 14 and 15 in the teamwork server.

thanks for the info. vfrontier.
