Teamwork database hotlinked into another non-teamwork PLN?

Questions:
1. if I create a "teamwork" file, can it be hotlinked into another PLN?
2. what's the process for hotlinking a teamwork database into a PLN?
3. the soon-to-be teamwork file has varying (different) vertical story settings than the PLN file we will be linking into? What should I be aware of in terms of "pitfalls"?

Any suggestions, please offer.

1. Yes.
2. File\External Content\Place Hotlinked Module, then see attached image.
3. If the TW file has the same number of stories but different heights you may try to place it as a multistory hotlinked module. I don't know if it will come in correctly. If not you may have to place the stories one by one as hotlinks and then you will be able to elevate them to their proper vertical positions.

Now Laszlo....are you telling me that I can indeed hotlink an "entire" teamwork database into a PLN file?

Or does the function you show on your screen snap shot only link "certain" hotlinked PLN files???

Yes, you can hotlink a complete shared Teamwork project file.
A hotlink can be a module, a full PLN file or a full TW2 shared project file (or stories of the latter two).

One proviso that is true for me with all hotlinking: make sure all project files involved share the same attribute set, also the same story structure, that makes your life the easiest.
