We have just released a Hotfix for ArchiCAD-14, you might want to try if that fixes it. (It is not currently tested for ITA language version, though, a few days...)

Generally "Server returns error code" means that the server refuses to accept your sent changes, because that would mess up the database on the server. Typical example: You have modified an element that - according to the BIM Server - is not yours. This is more than likely a program error, but the BIM server tries to protect the central database. In such cases, your best bet is to save a PLN, then reload the project from the server, and copy changes manually from the PLN to the Teamwork project. Alternatively, you can re-share that PLN, if that makes more sense in the current situation.

I tried to do my best explaining these teamwork error scenarios in this article:

<R>based on the following previous post...

<S></S><LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... p?p=160981">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=160981</LINK_TEXT><E></E>

...we are now the unfortunate recipients of the same meaningless error message - unfortunately in our case it also at times detaches users from the project, thus every time this happens we are loosing at least some work as you are basically left to copy and paste your work in between files.

upon further investigation of the problem we noticed the following:

on the bimserver in the affected projetcs log files...

<S></S>'/Applications/Graphisoft/BIM Server/Projects/09056_Main-215F7836-547C-3143-A614-C80CABC2ED6C/project.log'<E></E>

... the following appears:

[06 Dec 2010 16:12:38] INFO [09035_Main] [0xb0f3b000] - MG - put-changes
[06 Dec 2010 16:12:45] INFO [09035_Main] [0xb0f3b000] - MG - aborting transaction: ok

we suspect the above is causing our problem and if correct our next problem is to find out which 'object' or 'class' is stuffing us around?

any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Tonight I got the same error "THe Server returns a code error" (something like that)
Now I'm checking the log file and I see the same error

<S></S>[15 Dec 2010 03:24:01] ERROR [HH5 - 18 JUN 2010] [0x00011258] - USER04 - put-changes: failed
Warning: the current project transaction was set to rollback only.
at 0(0)<E></E>

Is it possible somehow to find and delete this object "55CD2F81-C0ED-A8FD-AADF-185046589161"?

In this way the problem is solved?
thanks for your reply - did not manage to reply in the pre xmas frenzy.

it seems that the hotfix has fixed our problem, however we will keep monitoring the logs just in case... at least users seem to no longer loose their work.
