AC13/14 Modular Bim Server Backup

hello all,

we are having problems with the backup functionalities of our bim server, we were previously running a standalone AC13 bim server were the automatic backups did not work - manual backups do get created though.

we have since upgraded to a modular AC13/14 bim server, but the automatic backups still seem to not work! again manual backups do get created.

we are now investigating how we can get a reliable backup going, but it seems that the new 'TeamworkServerBackupTool' can only do AC14 projects and ignores AC13 projects...!

as we are on mac's we have also been using silverkeeper and various scripts to get a full backup of the BS which is a workaround really.

also as a sidenote: it seems that a full backup / rollback is not really what most users would need anyway, unless disaster strikes a incremental backup solution would be more appropriate... to get that thing back that someone deleted 2 days ago? some other users describe that they manually export 'TW portable packages', which presumably allows for selective restoration of deleted elements?

we are just wondering what do other people do?

any ideas appreciated.

unfortunately, it has not been updated regarding the caveats for AC13 projects.

has anyone any experience with the outlined process?
