<T>I've got some old teamwork files on my BIM server on my computer. We put the files in my public folder so everyone can access them. At the end of the construction document process, we usually turn the teamwork files back into solo files for ease of opening and editing later. We want to delete these old teamwork files because they are now obsolete.

Problem: I can delete the folder for the teamwork files, but when I go to open a teamwork file later, I still see the link to the older teamwork file. It has not gone away, and when I click on it to open it, it tries to but nothing is there, and it says "teamwork file has not been created."

Any ideas on how to delete it from the list as well?</T>

The best way is to delete the file via the BIM server manager.
Go to the Projects tab, select the file, and click delete.

Did it but it's still showing on the list when I go to File>Open>Open/Join Teamwork Project and click on the server I want, though it says the project is Offline. Is this normal?

Did you "Leave" the TW project prior to deleting it from the BIM Server? If not, this may be residual project information left in the cache on your local drive.

As I understand it, when you "Leave", the cache (local delta copy) gets deleted. If you do not "Leave" the project, you will have to clear/delete the local cached copy of the project. It is part of the "extra" data security that you get with TW2.

Ok got it. I went to join even though it said the project was "offline" and it came up with the following message. I clicked the highlighted option. It's gone from the list now.

Thanks again,

True David. I did a test myself. Deleting a project on the BIM server before "Leaning" keeps data on the local computer.
The dimmed user image shows that there is local data but the project has been deleted.
See attached image.
