The AC BIM Server is a modular affair that looked for the existing AC13 BIM server and created a 13 module to deal with those projects. Can you do an additional install to get that 13 module up and running?

AC14 required that AC13/NIM Server be patched to the latest build to pull this off.

The different modules use different ports as well. AC13 original group and new ones for AC 14.

<T>I have BIM Server 14 installed and attempting to share an AC13 project. In doing so I receive the following warning message: 'Your client is not compatible with the selected server, server version 14....client version 13...'
I have successfully shared 14 projects. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Scott</T>

Hey Aaron, thanks for the reply. I am not sure what I did to possibly screw this up. I did install hotfix 3600 to 13 prior to commencing the 14 install. I followed the on-screen instructions for 14. Perhaps I missed something. I can see that only server module 14 is available in the BIM control center. So what is the recommendation to load the 13 module?

Restated; where can I read about how to install the 13 module to the BIM Server that already has the 14 module up and running?

Thanks again, Scott
