<T>Hi,
We are working on TeamWork project with BIM Server (AC 13, built 3600). Then the harddrive of the server crashed/down and it has been formatted. (Our work data is still intact)
After that I reinstall BIM Server (build 3600, AC 13) but then I can not retrieve teamwork project from the folder in our data drive. In the BIM Server MAnager, there is nothing in the Projects.

Please advise
Am I missing any steps ?

Thanks alot

Regards,</T>

In the File menu of ArchiCAD, do you have the Project listed in the last used projects list?
If yes, you could open that, it will open the local cached copy of the Project, which you can save as PLN and reshare.

The data of Projects of the BIM Server are stored the following location:

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\BIM Server\Projects

or wherever you installed the BIM Server.

But I don't know how you can get this data back if the Project does not exist anymore.

Maybe you could try to re-shared it and then copy-paste data into that folder.
I don't know if it will work.

Hi,
I can browse to where the project data stored (by Explorer/Finder) and see them there.

But as I said I re-installed the BIM Server after an incident of my server. I direct the BIM Server to the same projects location. But it does not show any results in the Project list of BIM Server.

So no other way to do get them back ?

Please advise

What I was saying is that share the file again, and it will create a new folder within the Projects folder of the BIM Server.
Then copy your existing Project data into this folder just created, overwriting the files there.
This is kind of like hacking and I don't know if it works, but worth a try.

Other than that I have no more ideas.

I did what you proposed and it worked:)

THX!!!
I ve made a teamwork project from an empty new file and later when it created new folder in BIM Server /Projects I overwrote them with those from project i wanted to get back

At the beginning i saw the poject just on the BIM Menager but couldnt connect to its teamwork file. So i rolledback backup and it worked.
Ofcourse there was still problem with library but then there was no issue to save pln and share it again.

Good luck
