Hi

in your work environment dialog box you can export the company standards schemes as a .xml-file. You can edit this file with a simple editor.

Keep an eye out for the line:

<AutoReserveEnabled>1</AutoReserveEnabled>

Replace 1 with 0. Save the xml and reimport it back to your work environment.

That way it should be disabled.

Auto-Reserve Function

Most of my clients are still on BIMcloud basic. I understand the auto-reserve function is ONLY a feature for full BIMcloud licenses; which is fine. we don't actually want that feature.
But what I have found is that project managers, who are not actually editing or reserving anything in the file, are inadvertently 'auto-reserving' simply by selecting elements. Normally I'd chock this up to user error, but there are multiple people with over a decade of Archicad experience telling me they are getting requests from their design teams, and they have not reserved anything.
I'd really like to set my clients up with a work-environment that has Auto-reserve unchecked, even though they are on BIMcloud basic; but it seems we don't have the ability to uncheck this. Is there any kind of back-door edit to the w/e that can fix this? or can someone send me a company standards scheme with it unchecked that I can try to ******ize into my clients w/e?
