Sharing a Translator in a TeamWork Project for DWG/IFC Export

I need to modify the translator for DWG/IFC export.

Colleagues get an error when exporting because the Translator is missing.

Changes are only saved locally:
Applications/GRAPHISOFT/Archicad 27 (Intel-based Mac)/Defaults/DXF-DWG Translators/SB11 Lager alla.dwg
Can the Translator be shared in TeamWork to avoid manual setup on each computer?
It's frustrating when someone needs to export updated drawings but doesn't have the correct Translator set for the project.

I share your frustrations. They should be able to stored and access from BIMCloud. Or better still, embed them in to the file itself.

We have our DWGs translators stored on a network share for our template to solve the issue.

Alternatively there are ways with your archicad installation to deploy common translators to all computers.

I haven't experienced any issued with IFC translators though as they are stored within the file itself.

Thanks for the tip.

However, it still seems like a complicated solution because I would have to set it up on every computer and have the translators preconfigured in advance.

I would prefer to find a solution where Archicad could share these settings within TeamWork.

I have the same issue with the IFC translator. It’s a basic translator, but I need to export it once near the origin and another time using the Survey Point.

When I create a new translator, my colleagues are missing it again.

It seems like only one person/computer ends up being responsible for all exporting.🤦‍♂️
