This might be an exception. This happened in the office and the first digit of the build didn't matter.

In all my past experience, opening a Teamwork project of build older than that of your version of Archicad would force you to update the project if you wanted to save. For example, if my version of AC is 27/5060, and I open a 27/5030 Teamwork project, I would be notified of the discrepancy upon opening the file, and then it would update to my build when I send & receive changes.

However, that isn't the case anymore. How do I update my teamwork projects?

You will need to check the help files but teamwork changed and version numbers that have the same first digit will work with any of the incremental versions so it will update once you send and receive with the highest build number and it will maintain compatibility with users that have not updated yet.

I'll check the Help page, but it definitely doesn't upgrade when someone with 5060 S&R's on the 5030 file.
